S.E.L.A.V.Y.E.R.A

Maksudnya gue mau kasih tahu meaning dari nama gue, menurut gue sendiri. Gue yakin sebagian dari kalian sering buat yang kayak diatas. Ngaku aja deh lu, bener kan?

Gue mau ngejelasin artinya nih, karena beberapa dari kalian mungkin nggak tahu arti kata-kata di atas.

Kata pertama dari letter S, yaitu Surreal. 

Surreal artinya di dalam bahasa inggris yaitu "Having the qualities of surrealism; bizarre: a surreal mix of fact and fantasy." Maksudnya gue di sini adalah gue itu sebenarnya pemimpi. Terkadang gue mimpinya itu sering terjadi di dunia nyata. Dan terkadang, kehadiran gue tuh di muka bumi untuk sebagian orang seperti nggak nyata a.k.a alien. Serius, gue pernah dikatain alien sama teman..

Kata kedua dari letter E, yaitu Extreme.

Extreme artinya melampaui batasan normal, atau di inggrisnya "Reaching a high or the highest degree; very great." Maksudnya gue memang, atau berharap, melampaui batasan normal. Gue nggak mau jadi mainstream, dengan cara gue sendiri.

Kata ketiga dari letter L, yaitu Leverage.

Leverage artinya sesuatu/seseorang yang bisa bertumbuh lebih baik potensialnya. Inggrisnya "The use of various financial instruments or borrowed capital, such as margin, to increase the potential return of an investment." Nah, gue mau jadi orang semacam itu, bertumbuh lebih baik dan menghasilkan lebih banyak daripada 'modal'nya.

Kata keempat dari letter A, yaitu Abstract.

Inggrisnya "Existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence". Gue orang yang abstrak, alias nggak jelas dan sulit dimengerti. Mungkin itu pikiran orang-orang di sekitar gue, bahkan orang terdekat gue sekalipun. Nggak ada yang ngerti, tapi gue juga nggak mau sih dimengerti. Kalau gue dimengerti, artinya gue mainstream. Walaupun sebenarnya mainstream itu relatif.

Kata kelima; huruf V, yaitu Vigilant.

Gue mau selalu waspada terhadap apapun, sampai teman terdekat gue sekalipun. Makanya gue jarang kaget.. Inggrisnya "Keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties". Gue emang udah terlahir begini atau karena bokap nyokap gue begitu, jadi gue ya gitu juga. Waspada.

Kata keenam; huruf Y. YOUTH.

Gue masih muda kok. gue ngepost ini SMP 1, jadi pasti gue punya spirit youth 'kan? 'Kan? *maksa

Inggrisnya "The state or quality of being young as associated with vigor, freshness, or immaturity."

Walaupun sebenarnya teman-teman gue bilang gue ini yang paling dewasa.. ngerasa paling tua..

Kata ketujuh, letter E, yaitu Erudite.

Artinya terpelajar. Ya memang gue terpelajar, gue 'kan sekolah... inggrisnya "Having or showing great knowledge or learning."

Temen-temen gue juga pada bilang gue berwawasan luas, padahal sebenarnya gue cuma tahu apa yang gue perlu tahu. Yah, biarlah ya..

Kata kedelapan, letter R, yaitu Refined.

Gue.. punya taste yang bagus. Paling nggak gue bisa bedain mana yang jelek dan bagus. Mana yang bisa dinikmati dan mana yang nggak, khususnya dunia musik bidang lagu. Jangan salah, musik dan lagu itu berbeda. Lagu itu dibuat dengan musik + lirik. Musik itu irama, nada, tempo dll. yang dijadikan selaras. Tapi itu menurut gue. Arti Refined di bahasa Inggris yaitu "Elegant and cultured in appearance, manner, or taste."

Dan kata terakhir, letter A, yaitu Authentic.

Artinya gue asli. Tanpa rekayasa. Dan pemikiran gue asli tanpa kopi orang. Semua tulisan gue di blog ini gue buat sendiri, bukan asal main copas seperti sebagian orang yang kehabisan ide. Dan gue bisa dipercaya, nggak mengkhianati dari belakang. Artinya di inggris adalah "Conforming to fact and therefore worthy of trust, reliance, or belief."

Kartini's Drama?!

Akhirnya gue sempat buat post Indonesia...
Baiklah, gue sekarang mau ngomongin tentang hari ini.. kemaren.. er.. whatever! Intinya gue post ini jam 00:06 tgl 28/4/13 dan gue mau ceritain hari sebelumnya.
Jadi gue 'kan bikin cerita buat drama Kartini nih. Nah, itu dramanya cuma narator yang ceritain. Yang lain tinggal ikuti tanpa ngomong. Alasannya supaya bisa langsung gitu nggak usah hafalin.. *ifyouknowwhatimean
Soalnya agak ribet juga sih, baru dipublikasiin nya pas libur jadi pasti nggak sempat kasih tahu semua anak + latihan. So, gue buat lebih simple tapi pasti bisa sampe 8 menit. HAHAHAHAHAHA.. *OKStop
Dan pasti nggak semua anak pada mau ikutan karena alasan takut nggak hafal lah, apa lah. Dengan ini 'kan mereka nggak punya alasan yang rasional lagi. Lagipula mereka nggak akan bicara kok, cuma naratornya saja. Simple 'kan?
Masalah kostum? Nggak perlu dipikirkan. Nanti kan semua pakai baju batik, jadi nggak usah ganti lagi. Begitu saja sudah bagus.
Jadi sebenarnya ini ide emergency.. karena acaranya SENIN DEPAN A.K.A BESOK.
Semoga yang ditunjuk jadi narator bisa benar.. karena bacanya harus dengan perasaan.
Dan gue bersyukur karena banyak cewek di kelas gue. Karena gue butuh paling nggak 10 orang cewek. Mereka harus mau pas gue tunjuk.. atau... *evil smirk*
Udah sih itu saja, cuma mau melampiaskan dengan menulis dan share dengan sosial. (?)

[My Life] SALT

First of all, i write this with english language. Sorry for bad grammar, my english is not very well.

In this post, I'll talk about some of my closest friends.
I think it's called SALT, based on Thomas's idea. Well, even though I don't really into that kind of stuff -grouping- and we don't officially make the group. Nah, I don't really care. I just can't find good title to start with.
SALT is a abbreviation of our names; Sela, Ayu, Lisa and Thomas.
I'll start with Ananda Ayu Lestari, the nickname is Nanda and "ayam" (chicken).
From the outside, she looks quiet and cool. But the really thing is she's a childish, sensitive yet funny and serious person. Strange, eh? But nothing is impossible. Ah, I do like to teasing her when I have time.
She's a gamer like me and almost of my closest friends. She has great talents. Her voice is "wet" and beautiful, if you don't understand just imagine her voice like Adele but less bold. She also has talent in modern dance. Her grade is good and her face is indonesian-beauty, though she has chinese line in her family.
If you're my schoolmate, you maybe still remember when five girls of 7A performance modern dance "I Don't Need a Man". She's one of those girls. Just remember the most dark skin one. Peace man, I'm not racist.

The second is Lisa Ratnalia, the nickname is Lisa and Cebol, Bantet, etc. All of those contains shorty or/and fatty essentials, though she doesn't that fat. But her height makes her looks more fat i guess.
She has a crush, and he has crush to her too. And luckily they haven't going out, because it's better. They haven't ready for now. I think they will made a good couple since the height will just perfect, short girl and average-to-tall boy.
She's cute, honest yet "exploding" and funny. Also, she's a simple-minded and semi-crazy person. I REALLY DO LIKE to teasing her. It's fun! (Sorry, girl. I can't stop. *Laugh out loud*) If she's crazy, I'm insane.
If you're my schoolmate, you maybe still remember when five girls of 7A performance modern dance "I Don't Need a Man". She's one of those girls. Just remember the white skin one, short and little-fatty girl. Peace man, I'm not racist.

And there's Thomas Candra, the nickname is Thomas. His singing talent will just blow up your mind. Imagine it, boy with voice as high as Kelly Clarkson! Or at least he can sing her songs well with original pitch and tone, and he has a good vibrato. He's a creative, funny, inovative yet sometimes annoying person. But hey! His grade is great too.
His appearance? If you're my schoolmate, I don't need to describe it to you. Well but I'll describe him anyway. He's average-to-short boy, with chinese baby-face and maybe overweight body. But don't judge him! He's a good boy with great talent and grade.

[Music Review] Simple Plan

OK, gue kali ini nge post dengan bahasa indonesia karena post lalu sudah bahasa inggris. Tapi ada slangnya boleh kali ya..

Ngomong-ngomong di post ini gue mau nge review band alternative rock yang satu ini, namanya Simple Plan. Ini alternative rock band pertama gue, dan gue langsung suka sama genre itu karena band ini.

Nah, alasan gue suka sama lagu-lagunya itu ada tiga.

Pertama, karena nggak semua lagunya bercerita tentang cinta. Lagu-lagunya ada yang bercerita tentang perasaan pada orang tua, pada orang-orang sekitar dan lain sebagainya. Jadi, band ini juga jadi salah satu yang membuktikan kalau lagu bagus tuh nggak semuanya tentang cinta.

Kedua, karena kualitas suara dan lagunya itu terbukti bagus. Lagunya enak dan santai tapi liriknya juga meaningful.

Ketiga, lagu-lagu mereka nggak berunsur hal kasar macam lagu-lagu sekarang, dan gue cukup kecewa karena lagu-lagu sekarang tuh ya gitu-gitu saja. Kalau bukan love song, ya break up song.

Lagu mereka yang pertama kali gue dengar itu judulnya "Welcome to My Life".

Lirik lagu yang satu ini benar-benar mencerminkan kehidupan gue dari kelas 3 sampe 5 SD. Dulu tuh kehidupan gue seperti falling apart gitu. Yah, biasa lah, masalah-masalah bermunculan. Tapi itu masa lalu, jadi gue nggak mau ungkit-ungkit lagi.

Lagu yang satu ini juga tampaknya mencerminkan orang yang udah putus asa karena orang disekitarnya nggak ngerti dirinya atau mengkhianatinya. Nggak ada juga yang menolong, dan sering pakai "topeng".

Nilai plusnya sih lagunya itu nggak bercerita tentang love break up story etc. yang sudah mainstream dan bosenin, tapi bercerita tentang kehidupan orang yang sedang desperate banget untuk menjalani kehidupan.

Dan.. lagu ini real menurut gue, terutama untuk orang-orang yang pernah dibully/broken home. Kadang orang-orang melihat gue kehidupannya senang-senang terus, padahal mereka nggak tahu gimana keadaan gue sebenarnya.

Terus lagu kedua yang gue suka judulnya "Perfect".

Ini lagu bercerita tentang anak yang tertekan karena orang tua biasanya sering menuntut banyak, walaupun di spesialkan untuk ayah karena tampaknya di barat kebanyakan yang menuntut itu ayah. Gue juga nggak tahu jelasnya. 

Lagu ini juga nyadarin gue kalau orang-orang sekitar gue nggak "perfect". Gue sering melihat temen-temen gue tertekan banget cuma karena nilai, takut orang tuanya marah karena nilai turun dll. Sebenarnya apa yang dicari dari nilai? Gue cuma tahu kalau beberapa orang tua banyak yang ngomongin nilai dan prestasi anak dsb. Yang paling menyakitkan untuk anak itu kalau sudah dibanding-bandingkan. Memangnya enak ya dibanding-bandingkan? Setiap anak minat dan bakatnya berbeda. Huruf dan angka itu nggak bisa mengukur bakat dan kepintaran!

My Life Goes On...

First of all, i write this with english language. Sorry for bad grammar, my english is not very well.

Sometimes, especially some of youth people now, are don't realize that they have important things other than their education, job or social life. They are not care about who is their Creator or what will they be when they died. Some of them will not realize it before they dying and before they experience some events.

What will I talk about is, who is our Creator? 

Our Creator is God.

May be your God and my God is same, may be different. But it's not the case right now.

Did you ever ask to yourself like, "Who am I?", "Why did i created?", "Is my God really exist?" or "Does the One who I praise is the real God?"

I am. May be I always thinking that way since i was kindergarten. Well, you think it's funny? Thinking like that ever since kid.

When I was kindergarten, I didn't have any female friend. During breaks, I just walk around the school and ponder some random things that most of kindergarten kids weren't know.

I was in 3rd grade, I didn't have much talents and hobbies. Back then, i never think about designing, editing, playing piano, singing, writing stories and poems. I was thought I didn't have any talent other than remembering lessons thus school gave me. Also, there's time when my parents almost divorced and our family economy is down. There are sometimes when i want to commit suicide and whatsoever. I was really hate my family back then.

But, when i was in 5th grade, I was browsing my sister's handphone songs and click some random songs i didn't even know. Song by Tenth Avenue North is played back then, my first TAN song. It's called Let It Go.

First I didn't think it's a religious song though. And then I repeat it for, maybe, 3 times before i know that this song is a religious song. The lyrics chills me out. Really. After that, I ask my sister and yup, the performer is a christian rock band.

And in the other time, when i browse my sister's laptop, I found this band's songs again. I play songs named "You Are More" and "By Your Side".

I didn't realize that I was crying, and then screaming so hard, luckily there was no one in home.

The meaning of the lyrics is so hitting me, hard. It's like my God talk to me, call me and want to save me for so long. But I was never heard Him, or maybe just pretend to. I think, those songs are so... saving me, even until now. And then I am urgently looking for a Bible pilled with other books. I open it, and strangely, my eyes stuck on this sentence; 

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." 

After that, I pray to God with all my heart for my first time in my life. Back then, i was think that i just need to go to the church every Sunday, sing those worship songs and pray for meal and before-after sleep. And now I know that I was wrong. Saved by God is not matter who's your God, what's your religion and when you repent. It's not about you, yours and yourself. it's about Him who save us!

And you know what? Therefore, I became more grateful and positive. Also, my parents are not getting divorced, and our family economy is raised again! Maybe I'm not the most lucky person in the world, but I am very much blessed and loved by God. I am so grateful for who am I before, now and must be tomorrow.

Is Bahasa Does Exist?

Baiklah, dari judulnya saja harusnya kalian udah tahu gue mau membicarakan apa, ya 'kan?
Yup, ini adalah masalah/konflik/topik yang sebenarnya sudah umum sekali.. sampai-sampai para pengguna juga tidak mempedulikannya lagi.
Bahasa, kita kan tiap hari berbahasa lah ya. Bisa dari mulut, bisa juga dari tangan yang mengetik dan menulis. Dan ada beberapa dengan simbol atau isyarat tertentu. Tapi, gue sekarang akan membicarakan tentang bahasa yang paling sering gue pakai, yaitu bahasa Indonesia + Gaul.
Weits, jangan salah sangka. Bahasa Gaul sama bahasa Alay itu beda.
Bahasa Gaul itu adalah bahasa Indonesia yang sedikit/cukup/banyak diubah. Sedangkan bahasa Alay adalah bahasa Gaul yang banyak sekali diubah. Jadi intinya bahasa Alay merupakan bahasa tersendiri, bukan bahasa Indonesia lagi. Camkan itu!

Ngomong-ngomong, gue mau meluruskan beberapa kata yang orang-orang salah artikan, terutama kawan-kawan gue sesama ABG A.K.A Anak Bekas Gondok Anak Baru Gede.

- Kata 'lucu'
Apa sih kata lucu itu? Biasanya anak-anak jaman sekarang pergi ke mall, ngeliat boneka mario bros kecil dan imut, terus mereka bilang itu lucu. Itu sebenarnya salah! Kata yang benar adalah 'imut'. Karena 'lucu' itu artinya mengundang tawa, dan boneka imut itu nggak mengundang tawa.
Gue sampai capek kasih tahu ke teman-teman gue soal ini.

- Kata 'galau'
Menurut ABG sekarang, galau itu dialami pas lagi diputusin/marahan/whatsoever sama pacar/teman. Padahal, itu salah lagi. Galau itu menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia edisi IV (2008), berarti kacau (tentang pikiran); “bergalau” berarti (salah satu artinya) kacau tidak keruan (pikiran); dan “kegalauan” berarti sifat (keadaan hal) galau.
Jadi, menurut gue, kata 'galau' yang sekarang sering digunakan itu kurang tepat. Karena kalau pikiran kacau, nggak berarti lu sedang sedih karena cinta. Jadi ingat, kalau mau pakai kata 'galau', gunakan kata 'karena cinta' di depannya, karena itu lebih tepat. Itupun, bagi orang yang pikirannya lagi kacau. Kalau yang lagi sedih saja sih, gue saranin pakai kata 'gundah' atau sekedar 'sedih'.

- Kata 'naksir', 'suka', 'cinta'
Nah ini yang paling sering digunakan untuk orang yang ber'galau'ria di jejaring sosial. Kesel banget gue kalau ngeliat orang pacaran di timeline Tw*tt*r bilang i love you, eh abis itu beberapa minggu kemudian putus. It's just soooo unreal. Jadi gue pengen lurusin nih...
Gue jelasin dulu yang pertama, yaitu 'naksir'.
Naksir itu artinya cuma tertarik akan suatu hal dari seseorang/sesuatu. Artinya itu orang nggak mengetahui sebagian besar dari orang/barang yang dia taksir. Biasanya sering banget terjadi buat para artis, kakak/adik kelas cakep dan barang yang berjejer di mall, juga sama orang yang sering SMS/BBM/mention/chat/dll. Jadi jangan langsung nembak yeh kalau baru naksir, nanti kemungkinan 90% beberapa minggu kemudian putus. Tradisi sebelum/sesudah putus biasanya galau 1-2 minggu, abis itu selesai.
Intinya, ini yang biasanya gue bilang 'cinta lalat' alias cuma ngambil makanan plus numpang buang setoran. Hati-hati ya, udah capek-capek bayar pajak jadian, eh nggak tahunya putus dua minggu abis itu.

Terus yang kedua, namanya 'suka'
Suka itu menurut gue cocok buat orang-orang yang hubungannya kuat sampai dua tahun... itupun maksa. abis itu berubah jadi dingin sedingin-dinginnya.
Paling hubungan kayak gini gampang roboh karena masalah kecil, apalagi kalau baru kenal nggak nyampe satu tahun. Dan biasanya orang-orang ini setelah putus atau sedang mengalami proses menuju putus selalu melakukan tradisi ber'galau'ria sekitar sebulan, abis itu selesai. Biasanya di proses itu dia ngetweet/ngepost/curhat yang sedih-sedih gitu, jadi mending unfollow/unfriend dulu kalau nggak mau ngebaca hal sedih nan gundah. Kalau udah selesai masanya, follow/add lagi deh *evil smirks*
Intinya, ini yang biasanya orang bilang 'cinta monyet' alias cinta jejadian. Cuma numpang lewat ambil buah yang banyak abis itu ninggalin batang yang rusak dan patah.
Kalau ini sih biasanya nggak bisa dihindari lagi di masa-masa sekolah, apalagi menginjak SMP-SMA. Semangat guys yang udah jadi korban dan belum bisa gerak nyala move on. Terutama yang sering penuh-penuhin TL Tw*tt*r gue! Jangan tweet yang negatif-negatif terus, mood bisa menular lewat tulisan lho... #JadiCurhat

Puisi: Kisah Kami

OK, ini sebenarnya tugas teman online gue. Dia disuruh baca puisi, dan kebanyakan puisi tuh ga ada yang memenuhi syarat yaitu 6 bait 4 baris, ada rimanya dan temanya harus 'Seruan Keadilan'. Sebenarnya boleh buat sendiri, tapi kata dia, dia nggak berbakat buat puisi. Akhirnya gue dah yang disuruh...
check it out ya, masih newbie jadi nggak terlalu jago bahasanya. Dan karena diminta, gue buat rima seadanya.
Ini puisi tentang keluhan rakyat akan ketidak adilan hukum terhadap para koruptor.
